Frequently Asked Questions
Himalaya Dolphin Baby is recommended, but other similar bulky chenille yarns like Yarn art or Premier Parfait can be used depending on what’s available in your region. The key is to choose a plush yarn for that soft, cuddly feel.
After stuffing the peach bag firmly and decreasing to 4 stitches, use a tapestry needle to go from the top through Round 2 and pull tightly. Repeat this process a few times to cinch the top and create the characteristic peach dimple and rounded form.
Yes, the pattern explicitly lists color changes within rows (e.g., “light brown 2sc, white sc”). It’s important to change colors precisely at the indicated stitch count to achieve the desired effect for the facial features and color blocks on the body and ears. Practice an invisible color change technique for seamless transitions.
Stuff both the head and body *very* firmly until they are chubby and feel dense. Stuff and shape simultaneously, pushing fiberfill into all areas to ensure an even, well-formed amigurumi without lumps or dents. This density helps the amigurumi hold its shape and maintain its delightful form over time.
